Playing the game

How do I play with my friends?

Choose Play Online, then Create Private Room. Share the room code with your friends. They choose Play Online, then Join Private Room, and enter that code. Everyone lands at the same table.

Can I play without an internet connection?

Yes. Choose Play Offline and you can play a complete game against AI opponents with no connection at all.

Nobody joins my public room. What do I do?

If you are the host and no other players appear, press Start. Every empty seat is filled with an AI opponent so you can play immediately.

How many players can play?

Thuruppu 28 supports 4 players in two teams of two, and 6 players in two teams of three.

I do not know the rules. Where do I start?

Play a few offline rounds first. Cards that cannot legally be played are dimmed automatically, so you learn the rules by playing. There is also a short rules summary on our home page.

Coins and purchases

What are coins for?

Coins are a virtual in-game item used to enter tables. They have no cash value, cannot be transferred between players, and cannot be exchanged for money or any real-world item.

How do I get free coins?

Free coins are granted daily. Open the game and claim them from the coin display. The game is fully playable without any purchase.

I paid but my coins did not arrive

First close the game completely and reopen it, since the store sometimes delivers a purchase on the next launch. If the coins are still missing, email support@estore2021.com with the store receipt from Google or Apple and we will sort it out.

Can I get a refund?

Purchases are processed by Google Play and the Apple App Store, so refunds are handled by them under their own policies. We cannot issue a refund directly, but contact us if something went wrong and we will help.

Accounts and data

Do I need an account?

No. Thuruppu 28 has no sign in and no account. You choose a display name and that is all.

How do I delete my data?

Your coins, display name, settings and saved game are stored on your own device. Uninstalling the game, or clearing its data in your device settings, removes all of it. We hold no account for you to delete.

What information does the game collect?

Very little. The full detail is on our privacy policy page.

Problems

I cannot connect to an online game

Check that your device has a working internet connection, then close and reopen the game. If a friend cannot join your room, make sure you are both on the same version of the app. Different versions cannot join the same room, which is deliberate, because they may play by different rules.

The game is slow or the table freezes

Close other apps and restart the game. If it keeps happening, email us with your device model and we will look into it.

Reporting a bug

Email support@estore2021.com. Tell us your device model, whether you were playing online or offline, and what you were doing when it happened. A screenshot or a short screen recording helps a great deal.
